School is the worst.  I have Miss Leigh's research project to do (the entire draft and possibly some research) and it's not even as if we ever learn anything in her class.  I'm glad I had more than six journal entries though...

It's the fourth marking period.  No wonder I've given hope of ever getting the point in school.  It went by super fast.  I'd be happy, but this only means that we're closer to junior year and closer to you-know-what.

I was so looking forward to getting out of Fagtelli's class, but, crap, I forgot that meant no more flip-flops or heels.  Only sneakers, and I hate carrying around gym shoes in my backpack.  There's already too much shit in there.  You should've seen it today...it was HUGE.  Such a nerd.

Anyway, so excited...less than one hundred days to go!!!!!!

Nikita: What's with the Berenstain Bears?  Oh, they're for Kevin.  OK, good, so you're not going retarded.

Swetha: Did Amy die?

I just love my supportive friends.

Yesterday at the library was really fun.  Rita's ice cream was yummy (even in the cold), and I had corn bread for the first time since I was at St. Mary's.  I didn't get good sources, because I really don't care about Hillary Clinton.  I mean, I might vote for her in three years, but forget about those shitty biographies (I bet the writers only wrote them to cash in on the Monica Lewinsky scandal).  They didn't have enough information on Ruby Bridges (just a picture book and a movie) or Tien Chang Lin (a great biography in Chinese, but I'm illiterate).  Just my luck.  I should do Eminem.  They've got at least three books on him, and there are tons of magazine or newspaper articles.  His CDs and 8 Mile could be sources too.  Somehow, I don't think Miss Leigh (who doesn't teach Lit at ALL) would like that.  Help me think of someone interesting with an American Dream!

The Ortho-McNeil trip today was boring but totally worth missing school and the French quiz.  Someone, but I won't mention who, didn't know what diaphragms were used for.  It was pretty funny.  I'm sure the freshmen didn't know either, or else they would have been really immature about it.  My allergies were killing me the whole time.  Everytime I thought I would sneeze, it wouldn't come and I would tear up.  So aggravating.  I also got a major headache.  Gotta love my drug dealer for the Tylenol.

Happy Birthday to Kevin, a big boy at seven!  Yay!
